Please, as a Political Science graduate, I really need to be enlightened about studying Law at the postgraduate level.
What exactly do I need to apply for?

Hi damilolaadejumo,

A law degree (in the U.S., at least) is always pursued at the postgraduate level. To apply for a J.D. program, you need to have completed a Bachelor's degree and taken the LSAT. Your college major has no effect on your eligibility for admission. Plenty of PoliSci majors end up in law school, so you won't be alone in that.

So, the short answer to your question is that you'll be applying for a J.D. program, unless you've already completed a law degree abroad (in which case you'd be applying to a LLM program).

Let me know if this answers your question.

Thanks!
