Full-Length LSAT

My current understanding of the LSAT is that there is one reading comprehension section, one analytical reasoning (logic games section), and one logical reasoning section, each of which is 35 minutes. In addition to these three sections, there is an additional 35-min section that can be a repeat of any of the aforementioned section types.

During my LSAT prep/research, however, I've been seeing mention of two logical reasoning sections (in addition to the experimental section).

With this in mind, I wanted to clarify - are there 4 of 5 sections of the exam? I just wanted to check in to ensure that the practice exams I've been doing (with 4 sections) are accounting for the experimental section as well and that I'm adequately building my stamina for the actual exam.

You are correct - there are 4 sections on the LSAT: 1 LR, 1 RC, 1 LG, and one experimental section.

The mentions of 5-section tests you are seeing are outdated. Prior to 2020, the exam was indeed 5 sections. Then with the pandemic and at home testing, the test temporarily shifted to only 3 sections with no experimental, before switching to its current format. It's confusing to keep track of, but the only format you currently have to be familiar with is the 3-scored, 1 experimental!
