Hi,

In this question isn't expecting to produce a resourceful and creative child a requirement in the argument? How can we weaken the argument by going outside of what stimulus says?

Any clarification is appreciated!

Hello,

No, it is not a requirement. "resourceful and creative" appears in the second part of the stimulus, out of nowhere.

Hi Capetowner,

I suppose you could think of the analogy as being in that format.

Being told exactly what the plot and characters must be : Writing a good novel :: Thoroughly structuring a child's playtime : Producing a creative and resourceful child.

The shared relationship between A:B and between C:D being that the first term would not be expected to produce the second term (at least according to the argument).
