You bet it's okay, Kelly! It's just a tiny bit more work than what we suggested, and it paid off big time, so I see no problem with it. Job well done!
Lesson to take away from this: there is rarely just one "right way" to diagram a game. What we offer are suggested solutions, not ironclad rules of what must be done in order to succeed. Do what works for you!
