study plan with the three bibles LG-LR-RC

Hi, I'm new in this forum. I just purchased the three bibles LG-LR & RC. At first, I was not sure how to start studying for the LSAT, or which book I needed to start with. I just found a 3 month study plan from the PS. However, it is a little confusing, it says that I should study all three books simultaneously. I would not have a problem following their plan, but I'm afraid that it may confuses me more, since I'm new with all this. It also says to do homework using their books, and I only have the three bibles, I was thinking to purchase the workbooks as well. But in their study plan they use about 9 different books. I need an advice, I want to follow a good study plan, without getting lost in the process.

Thanks for the question! I think I can help you out here As far as using the books simultaneously, that is your decision to make based on what feels best for you. You can do it that way, or you can start with one of the books and work all the way through it before moving on to the next book. The reason we suggest that students use all the books simultaneously is that the ideas in each section can help with the other sections. For example, Reading Comprehension resembles a very large Logical Reasoning question, and so the reading skills you develop in LR can help with RC. Or, to cite another example, the conditional reasoning skills you develop in Logic Games can help in Logical Reasoning (and vice versa). So, instead of each section being a wholly different exercise, there are skills and information that transfer across section lines. Plus, for many people, it's beneficial to give the mind a break by working on something a bit different, and moving from section to section does just that.

With the extra books, we include those because we were asked so often to create study plans that contained additional practice and preparation materials. I would recommend purchasing the Workbooks, but you can wait on the other books until later to see if you need them!

These plans have been used by many students to achieve success, and part of the reason is that we are here to help with advice, and to answer questions when you run into trouble.
