Basic linear games

HI,

I'm currently using the 12 week study plans for the bibles, game type training, and workbooks. I've just completed the basic linear games in the lgb and the accompanying drills in the game type traininf book .

Im coming up with good diagrams and the correct answers but i am nowhere close to completing each game in under 9 minutes. Im on the advanced linear chapter now where i am experiencing the same thing. Good diagrams and answers but each game takes a while to complete. In studying the explanations to each game, I am finding that my biggest weakness is missing some inferences after my diagramming and rules are all done.

Im hoping all this will improve with more practice, along with getting faster. Can anyone offer feedback or input about this? At what point in my studies should I expect to be faster?

Thanks for your question! It is a good one.

I can definitely offer some feedback: you are correct, you will get faster as you continue to practice and improve. Your technique in diagramming setups and rules, and your ability to answer the questions will get smoother, easier, and more confident with practice.

Additionally, there are commonalities among all logic games, and the more you do, the more you will be able to see how they are all similar and predict what inferences will exist.

As far as when you should expect this to happen, it is hard to be specific. I can, however, predict that as you approach the point at which the games begin to seem similar and repetitive to you, your speed will improve, probably a lot.
