Hi... me here with another question :)

I took a gap year after undergrad before applying this cycle. I have significant full-time work experience, but my resume has a significant gap due to the sudden illness and subsequent passing of a family member. I didn't think anything of it until I was contacted by one law school that asked about the gap. I've been accepted to a couple of schools that were a bit of a reach given my LSAT score, so I do think that my softs are helping me? Since one school has already asked about it, is it worth sending an updated resume with my current position and an explanation for the gap? How much would it delay my application (if at all, since these are schools I submitted to about two weeks ago)?

Thank you very much in advance. Hope you all have a great week and happy holidays!

If one school asked about it, others might be wondering too, libertybelle. I think it might be worth submitting at least an addendum at this point, and while you're at it you may as well provide the updated resume. Then again, two schools that you thought were a reach have already accepted you, so it obviously wasn't a problem for them! If there are schools that you have not heard from that you would prefer to attend instead of those schools that have already made you offers, then go for it - I don't see how it can hurt, and it might help some. If there's nobody still pending that you would choose over the ones you already have in hand, then why bother?

Either way, congratulations and good luck!
