Hi,

For the correct answer B, can you explain how "INTENSITY to lyricism" is justified/supported in the passage? I see lyricism but not intensity. So I eliminated this answer.

Thanks,
Yaesul

Hi Yaesul,

The word "force" in line 21, where the author talks about the truth of what happened in to abstract expressionism, is the word that justifies intensity. Not the easiest thing to see by any stretch, but that's what I believe allows us to make that leap.
