Source for main point socialist realism passage Chapter 7

In Chapter 7 there is a passage that describes socialist realism and explains that programs to censor art inevitably undermined the goal that they had intended to promote. Does anyone know the source for this passage for this, or was it authored by LSAC?

Hi Aaron,

That's a from a mini-drill, so we drew that from various academic sources and then modified it for the purposes of the drill.

Thank you David. I've enjoyed the tip in the book on following up on the sources from LSAC reading compression passages to consider the process that LSAC uses to modified them. It is interesting to know that this passage was specifically crafted as a mini-drill. Thanks for the information!
