Complete Question Explanation
(The complete setup for this game can be found here: lsat/viewtopic.php?t=12865)

The correct answer choice is (E)

This Local question asks us to consider what could be true if G and J worked together on at least one day. Only Templates 1 and 2 would make the creation of a vertical GJ Block possible. With that block in place, the two templates would look like this:

Answer choice (A) is incorrect, because G does not work the first shift on Tuesday in either template.

Answer choice (B) is incorrect, because H does not work the second shift on Monday in either template.

Answer choice (C) is incorrect, because H does not work the second shift on Wednesday in either template.

Answer choice (D) is incorrect, because J does not work the first shift on Wednesday in either template.

Answer choice (E) is the correct answer choice, as J can work the first shift on Thursday in both templates.

According to the template 2, Wednesday 1st shift can be J/H. After the Monday 2ed shift become J to fulfill the GJ block, why for Wednesday 1st shit must be H? Why answer D is wrong?

Good question! It occurs because if the Wednesday first shift is J, then both Thursday shifts would be H, and that would violate the first rule. Thus, the Wednesday first shift here cannot be J.

Please let me know if that helps. Thanks!
