About a month ago I started the 1 month PowerScore self-study plan. I have followed and completed the plan diligently, but I have not improved enough. My diagnostic was a 145 and now I’ve plateaued at 150. I would like to get as close to 160 as I realistically can. I struggle particularly with logic games and I have been reviewing practice tests, using the tracker sheets, practicing LR question types I miss frequently, and trying to be cognizant of any other errors I make. I’m still putting tremendous amounts of hours into this, so I’m getting very frustrated. I understand the concepts I read on paper, but perhaps the issue is that I can’t apply them effectively on a test? I don’t know. I really feel like I’ve hit a roadblock here. Due to this, I had to withdraw from the June test date, so now I’m signed up for July. What is my next step? I’ve put faith into powerscore, but clearly it is not working as well as expected. I’m not even close to the average 12 point increase that is frequently mentioned. There are various options such as tutoring, LSAT course, and on-demand lesson subscription, but I don’t know which of these would help me the most. I don’t want to spend a substantial amount of money on being taught things I already know. What would be the most economical and best thing to do in my situation?
Help would be much appreciated!
