Dear Powerscore staff who are relatively long time LSAT experts,

As you know JULY LSAT is about 2 weeks away; as you know this is one of the new attempt test that LSAC has never offered prior.

In an innovative attempt like this test, based on your experiences, Does LSAC usually does one of the following ?

Is there any out-of-blue or LSAT Questions offer (ex: revival of double questions or unusally many quanities of Evaluate the argument Qs)

OR

LSAC throws a CURVEBALL in a test format , ex 1: Overall all three sections of test difficulty is usually more difficult in a test like this, Ex 2: In a credicted LG session filled with a pattern game and a circular game ? Ex 3: particularly more difficult LR session maybe ? or featuring two compartive RC passages? Anyways, any particular preparations to prepare or expect such?

Lathlee, and others wondering the same thing: for our best guesses about what to expect, and what not to expect, on the July LSAT, take a look at the recording of our free "Crystal Ball" webinar, which you can find at this page in our Free Help area:

https://www.powerscore.com/lsat/help/

For a short answer about July, I can tell you that we have reason to believe that it will NOT contain any of the sort of surprises you listed below. Rather, we expect it to reflect the patterns we typically saw on tests administered between 2010 and 2014. There was a rumor back in February 2014 of a possible circular logic game, so it wouldn't be a bad idea to do a little research on those (which we do discuss some in the Logic Games Bible. You might also want to visit our Blog to research our recaps of the February tests from those years, as well as use the published tests from those years for practice tests.

We're looking forward to hearing the after-action-reports from all of you to find out if we were right in our predictions! Good luck to us all!

Just a question I believe you guys in the webinar linked above stated that the February 2013 LSAT was administered to students in Florida following a hurricane there that caused test cancellations in the last year or 2. It was the one that had the computer virus game as an experimental. So would it be safe to assume that this lsat then probably wont be the reused February lsat for this upcoming July one or ??

Also for the circle game that was on the February 2014 lsat- are any additionals known o available about it on the net or??

Hi Terken,

Remember, that Virus game was an Experimental for that test, not a scored game. So, it would be easy enough for them to reuse that entire exam as this July test, while just slipping in a new Exp for the Virus section. So, it wouldn't be safe to assume it's not that LSAT.

As for February 2014, here's a basic rundown of it: The February 2014 LSAT Post-test Analysis.

Thanks!

To follow up for lathlee and Terken here, yesterday I posted a blog on all of the test details we have for Feb tests ranging from 2008-2016:

https://blog.powerscore.com/lsat/februa ... at-details

That should give you a clearer sense of what's been tested and when/where those tests were reused.
