Am I missing something? Isn't the answer to question 5.1 on page 208 simply the contrapositive of the last rule: "K cannot be selected unless X is selected"?
Thus, the contrapositive: if X is not selected, K cannot be selected. And hence, the answer.
There is a whole 2 pages of explanation for this question when the answer is so apparent? I'm pretty sure my thinking is wrong and the answer cannot be so simple. Can someone confirm whether I am right or wrong.
