I have heard conflicting opinions about what passages to attack first in RC. Is it best to do the most interesting passages (to one's self) first, or to do the passages with the most questions first? I've been doing the passages with the most questions first for most of my prep and have not been getting great results, should I maybe try changing this? RC is by far my worst section (was for the Oct 12 test too), just trying to find anyway(s) to improve.

I do usually finish the section, but the accuracy is all over the place. Sometimes I'll do well in some passages and not in others, not necessarily in the order I do them though.

Hi LSATrookie,

There are arguments to be made for both positions. Since you've been doing passages with the most questions first, you might consider trying starting with the passages that interest you most first, and seeing if that seems to work better for you. Either way, though, make sure that you aren't spending more than a few seconds in deciding the order.

You also might want to try to figure out whether the passages you struggle with have some characteristics in common - are they all in the same topic category? Is there some other feature they share? That way, you can target your practice to similar passages.

Hope that helps!
