Hello

I have submitted my application to my choice of choice which was due November 1. I am scheduled to take the LSAT on November 17, and my OLSAS application states that this is the LSAT date. What should I do given a poor November LSAT score if I don't want it sent and instead want to try my hand at the January LSAT?

I'm afraid they will just use my November score to judge my application since it will likely be sent to OLSAS immediately by LSAC.

Thank you!

Hi Diana,

Thanks for the question! First, I'm not a big fan of deeply analyzing the negative consequences of your LSAT score until you get such a score :-D While I know that examining all the options is critical, with the LSAT it's best not to do that until it happens; otherwise, it feels like you are setting yourself up for failure by even allowing for a negative mindset to exist.

Second, that said, you would just send in a note asking all schools to not use or consider your November LSAT since you plan to retake the exam in January. This happens all the time, and is a fairly standard procedure.

Thanks!

I'm also in the boat as you Diana, I actually called OLSAS asking about that and they said to just indicate on your application that you are writing the Nov and Jan test which I did.
