Hi! I'm new here so forgive me if this has already been asked!

I'm super interested in public interest law so naturally my personal statement discusses that interest. My diversity statement uses a different story but discusses some of the same skills/interests. In addition, some schools have special public interest programs that require a supplemental essay again about your desire to practice public interest law. My question is, it's starting to seem like all of my essays are talking about the same things. I'm worried this will bore the admissions committee or make me come off as lacking depth. Do I change one of the essays (probably the diversity statement)?

Hi Shar,

Thanks for the message! Yes, I'd change the diversity essay because talking your interest in public interest law isn't that diverse (lots of people these days are writing about this). You need an essay that explains something different you bring to the school, and right now that's not really different enough.

Thanks!
