Standby?

Anyone with standby experience?
I registered for the January in Florida. However I’m gonna be in ny during the test administration. They offered standby in ny and said that the center has extra equipment. How big of a risk is standby if they already confirmed they have extra equipment? Is it worth it to just fly back to Florida for the day (minus the money issue)?

Hey, in my experience the students who have gone standby have been successful, and if it's known they have extra equipment, it would seem your chances are good. that said, I don't trust LSAC at all right now as far as handling things administratively, so make sure you show up with something official from LSAC explaining what standby is. Because I've heard of proctors who have no clue about it.
