Hi,
I'm planning on attending law school fall 2021. In the meantime, I've been studying for the LSAT and working part-time as a file clerk at a law firm. However, I was given the opportunity to work this upcoming August as a business development consultant. Would it hinder my application chances if I started working in a non-legal field?
I feel like it would be consistent to continue working in the legal field, but my current job only offers part-time.
The position involves research and sales, which I feel like can translate into valuable skills for lawyers.
I would greatly appreciate some insights regarding this! Thank you so much
