Complete Question Explanation
(The complete setup for this game can be found here: lsat/viewtopic.php?f=315&t=9170)

The correct answer choice is (D)

The question stem creates two blocks: a KHG block and a LF block. Because of the actions of the first and second rules, the LF block must be placed on days 2 and 3:

The KHG block must then be placed on days 4-5-6 or 5-6-7. But, the fourth rule prohibits K from being placed on day 4, and so the KHG block must be placed on days 5, 6, and 7:

Due to the third rule, J cannot view the site on day 1, and must view the site on day 4, leaving M to view the site on day 1:

Accordingly, answer choice (D) is correct.

Hi Brennan!

This question gives us two new blocks: KHG and LF. All of the other rules still apply. Start with the LF block. F only has two options for where it can go but we also have a rule involving L we need to pay attention to. So where does that LF block have to go? Now that you've placed LF, think about the KHG block. Where does that KHG block have to go? Remember to pay attention to that "if K is 4th" conditional rule! Once you've placed KHG, you only have J and M left to place. M is a random. But what do we know about J from that "if J is 1st" conditional rule?

There's only one possible order that works for this one. See if the above helps you figure that out for yourself and, if it doesn't, let us know where you get stuck! Having a better idea of which specific step is tripping you up will help us help you with the underlying concepts so that you will be better prepared for future games :)

Hope this helps!

Best,
Kelsey
