Complete Question Explanation
(The complete setup for this game can be found here: lsat/viewtopic.php?f=298&t=12774)

The correct answer choice is (A)

If K is assembled on line 2, then the MG block is assembled after S, and two basic templates result, based on the position of H:

In each Template, F is assembled on a lower-numbered line than S, and so answer choice (A) is correct.

Brennan,

Because S is always 4, the game is divided into spaces 1, 2, and 3 ("before S") and 5, 6, and 7 ("after S"). When the question puts K on 2, we no longer have room for the MG block to fit before S. So it must go after S. There's room for exactly one more thing after S, which can't be F, because F must be before J. So F is before S. That's enough information to prove answer choice (A).
