I want to graduate a year early from undergrad, however, this requires me to take summer classes the summer preceding the fall term for law school. Meaning I will be taking summer courses during Summer 2022 and law school start date would be Fall 2022.

I am wondering if this will negatively impact my law school admission when I am applying in Fall 2021. Would law schools prefer that I finish all my classes in the Spring?

Hi Malvika,

You should be fine with this as long as you are on track to graduate by the start of law school. However, check with a few schools that interest you to make sure they don't have any unusual policy that would count this against you.

Thanks!
