Wondering about a C&F question

There’s a C&F question that asks if there “has ever been an interruption in one or more terms in your education for some reason?” and I was wondering if my situation applied to this.
During one my college semesters I went through medical issues and had a medical withdrawal before the semester was over. I wonder if this counts as an interruption as defined by the question and also wondering whether this hinders my chances of admission to certain schools. My struggle with medical issues is something I plan to touch on with a GPA addendum but was also wondering if it would also matter here

Yes, this would qualify as an interruption and should be noted as such. The good news: it won't hinder your chances at all! Medical reasons are perfectly reasonable explanations for needing to take a break
