Hi!
I'm taking my writing a little later... I'm not applying this year, so not in that much of a rush to see my score.
ANYHOW, for the writing portion, I know that we are allowed to bring in general knowledge (supply and demand, etc) but are we also allowed to talk about what's "right" or "moral"?
For instance, for the prep test 67 writing sample, where it's a debate about the Cree vs Mandarin language, is it okay for me to argue for hiring the professor that will teach Cree because it can show that the University recognizes aboriginal folk who have been marginalized and relegated to second class citizenry as a result of Canada's policies. And this would be on top of satisfying the other benefits that this choice will bring. Or is this reasoning to off base for what kind of evidence we are allowed to include.
Thanks!
Aspen
