I am getting better scores on the 70s than the 80s. Has the language gotten harder on the RC sections?

Yes, I'd say a bit. the RC in the last few years has been rough. We talk about this in our LSAT podcast on our test reviews, almost every single exam for the last few years has had RC hard enough to loosen the scale. So, what you are seeing in terms of results is matched by our analysis of the test.
