Hi all, during this webinar Adam was discussing a subtle type of Strengthen + Causality question where the right answer eliminates an alternative cause to the cause & effect stated in the stimulus. The example he gave was something along the lines of

Cause: the food at this restaurant is really good
Effect: there are always long lines outside this restaurant
Correct Answer: Prices are really high at this restaurant.

Therefore eliminating the possibility that maybe it is due to affordability that the line is long.

Can you point me to a couple of lsat questions that do this? I want to practice

There everywhere, Mmjd12! Any time you have a causal argument and a strengthen question, you should be looking for answers that eliminate alternate causes. That's one of the standard ways to strengthen, along with showing that the cause and effect are not reversed, or that when the cause happens the effect also happens, or when the cause is absent the effect is also absent, or supporting whatever data the author relied upon in their argument.

That said, here are just a few that might be what you're looking for:

PT 132, Section 4, Question 3, about Perfect Pitch
PT 137, Section 3 (unscored), Question 2, about Ads in Supermarkets
PT 130, Section 4, Question 23, Craters
