I am currently using the PowerScore 6-Month plan, aiming to test LSAT. I have about 9 weeks left according to the Plan, however my practice test scores are hardly improving and are not close to my goal yet. I scored badly on my practice test today.

I currently spend 2-3 hours studying M-Thursday then about 2-3 hours on Saturday and Sunday due to my full-time job and life with my family.

Any advice? Any suggestions? Currently frustrated.

Thank you.

Hi Behis,

Thanks for the post. A few thoughts here. :)

First, please rest assured that seeing a score drop, score stagnation, or variances in your score when you study is not uncommon! It is often because as you learn new concepts, your timing is slowing down as you learn to practice and apply the new concepts efficiently. If you find that your score has decreased, make sure that you are actively analyzing the changes in your performance.

I would suggest taking a look at your progress on specific sections and concepts in the exam. You might find the following PowerScore Blog posts about score drops helpful:

Lastly, don't forget to take a break for a day or two - especially if you have a busy family schedule. We would recommend that even if it's just for a few days! :-D This article will provide more insight into why breaks from the LSAT can actually help: https://blog.powerscore.com/lsat/bid-2 ... our-score/
