This absolutely crazy! The older lawyers I’ve talked to are surprised at how high the medians are now. The fact that you can have a perfect gpa and an 179/180 LSAT and still be rejected by Harvard, Yale, and Stanford is insane! The state school I want to get into has a 169 median and it’s not even in the T20’s!

It's a tough year, but let's be honest that a score in the 170s was never a guarantee at top schools. And I know plenty of 180s that have been rejected by Harvard and Yale in years past. There simply are no guarantees at those schools, ever. But what is markedly worse is that more great applicants are being turned away than before, and that's due to LSAC score inflation and GPA/grade inflation. That has caused medians on all front to rise to truly ridiculous levels.
