Could you please explain question #302 for me? I chose answer D. I understand that the conclusion for the argument is that the theory discussed (cave paintings depict the diet of the painters living in the islands off the coast of Norway) is false since the painters did not illustrate any sea animals (which are assumed to be a large part of the painter's diets) in their painters. I do not understand why answer D is incorrect?

Thank you.

Hello,

With answer D, if they could preserve meats from land animals (say, salted beef or something), then they didn't need to eat sea animals on their voyage after all.
Answer C just sort of repeats or reinforces part of the stimulus, i.e., that sea animals are not portrayed. Therefore, it does not weaken the argument.
