For this question I chose answer A. I am having problem wrapping my head around the credited response. In answer C, what "view" is Stephanie's response attributing to Ruth? Furthermore, how is this "view" more vulnerable to criticism? Stephanie's response equates being a politician to being worthy of public trust. Is this the flaw that she committed?

Hi Smile,

Stephanie's response is attributing to Ruth the view that "To be worthy of public trust, it is enough to have varied experience." However, this is not what Stephanie actually says, and is actually much more extreme than the position she gives. That makes it more vulnerable to criticism. Ruth really just said that varied experience is necessary, but she did not say it is sufficient to being a politician (or being worthy of public trust).

Does that help?
