Hello, So with this Flaw question I was going to go with A because I felt the author was assuming small cars couldn't become safer to drive and continue being fuel efficient but the answer is B? I crossed out C,D and E but when left with A and B I went with A. Thank you

Hello, Jkjones,

It's not A, because the author is not claiming that it would be impossible to reduce the likelihood of car accidents. Rather, the author is claiming that the likelihood of dangerous car accidents should not be increased in the name of fuel efficiency.

It's B, because the author is saying that there is an issue with a single method (making cars smaller) of solving the problem (increasing fuel efficiency), and from that concludes that the problem (increasing fuel efficiency) should not be addressed at all. That obviously isn't true... :)
