I bought most of your books and they are great!

I just have a basic question: If I am diagramming a sentence and I come up with the contrapositive first and the contrapositive of that is the answer that you get. Is this right?

Hi Hannah,

Thanks for your kind compliments! In answer to your question, yes, that is fine. Because a statement and its contrapositive are functionally identical, it doesn't really matter which one you find first. An analogy would be to say that you can look at the front of dollar and I can look at the back of a dollar, but it doesn't matter since we both know we are looking at the same thing--we are just looking at it from different sides.

I hope that answers your question. If not, please let me know. Thanks!
