Is this normal...I've truly gotten much better with RC and LG. When I initially started LR I was dragging but AT LEAST getting some right. NOW since I was devoting this entire week to LR it seems like every test I'm taking I'm bombing out! Am I too focused on this portion or should I just go back to the other sections? This is messing me up mentally!!!

Hello, Carole,

It is totally normal. In the words of the great Douglas Adams, don't panic! :-D

A few bad test results can happen for a number of reasons. Stress, lack of sleep, being anxious over something else, not having enough time in the day...it doesn't necessarily mean you don't know what you're doing. There are lots of possibilities.

In this case, you may find it helpful to focus solely on LR and not take full practice tests for the time being...or you may find it helpful to ignore LR for now and focus on polishing the other sections. It's really up to whatever you find most effective.

Just keep a cool head and don't let the test get to you. If you find and clear away other things that are interfering with your score, you may be surprised to see how much you improve in a short time. ;)

Hope that helps,
Lucas Moreau
