Complete Question Explanation
(The complete setup for this game can be found here: lsat/viewtopic.php?t=17097)

The correct answer choice is (E)

As noted in question #1, by re-using the information in the question, we can quickly eliminate answer choices (A), (B), and (C) in this question. The difference between the two remaining answer choices (D and E) is class 1. While you can stop and create a hypothetical that shows that V can be added to class 1, the better choice would be to skip this question and return to it later, after you have completed all of the remaining questions and produced more hypotheticals. As we will see, the hypotheticals from questions #4, #5, and #6 each clearly show that V can be added to class 1.

Because V can be added to class 1, answer choice (E) is correct.

Good afternoon,

My question has to do with #2: "Which one of the following is a complete and accurate list of classes any one of which could be the class to which V is added?"
The answer is E and I was wondering what would the best and fastest strategy towards approaching this answer. I had clearly diagrammed the rule but I guess something got lost along the way.

Thank you so much!

Hello Sara,

A quick way to deal with question #2 might be that there's not much in the way of v going anywhere. v hates z, but that's about it.

Hope this helps,
David
