Complete Question Explanation
(The complete setup for this game can be found here: lsat/viewtopic.php?t=2065)
The correct answer choice is (A).
L can represent J under either template. In Template #1, L would have to be assigned to lane 5, and in Template #2, L would have to be assigned to lane 1. This immediately eliminates answer choice (D) since L is assigned to lane 3 in that answer.
In the two templates, O or P is assigned to lane 2, and this fact eliminates answer choices (B), (C), and (E). Thus, only answer choice (A) remains, and, accordingly, answer choice (A) is correct. Under Template #2, the runners can be assigned in an L-O-N-P-S order.
