Complete Question Explanation
(The complete setup for this game can be found here: lsat/viewtopic.php?f=246&t=32245)

The correct answer choice is (D)

The condition in the question stem creates the following scenario, identical to Template #1:

G3-Q16-d1.png

Therefore, answer choice (D) is correct.

Again, if you had difficulty creating the scenario above, the solution from question #12 can be used to eliminate answer choices (B) and (E).

I'm pretty sure the question "If none of the children was born" is a grammatical error.

Anyone disagree?

I disagree. In this case, either "was" or "were" would be acceptable, because the question can be interpreted as meaning the same as "not a single one of the children was born." It's more of a style choice in this construction than a case of clearly right or wrong. I personally would have written it as "were," but that doesn't make it an error.
