For anyone who had to retake/retest for a test due to technical issues?

How would you say the retake went? Was it easier, harder, the same? Do you think you did better than your score on the first test? Are there still 2 variants of the test given out? Not sure if powerscore includes these tests that are given in their crystal ball prediction or not.

So for retests due to technical issues, do they have 2 versions or just one? Not a different version just because sections are switched around or questions are moved around, I'm referring to different versions like different RC passages, or something like that.

Hi Ronnt21,

There is usually only one version of the retest because the number of students taking the retest is relatively small. That said, there is nothing stopping LSAC from using more than one version, so it's possible!

I've heard similar from other retesters, but of course that's only a cross-section, it's not every other single retester. If someone had seen this material on a previous administration, then they give them a different form (and vice versa). So, you can get multiple forms in use. You might want to listen to Episode 65 of our podcast for a recap (no way to tell which LR they used for scoring, though). Thanks!
