Hello Powerscore,

I got this question right but I want to be sure I eliminated B for the right reasons. B sounded too strong and rules out other contributing factors that could be affecting the existing phenomenon. The language is D is a bit better because it acknowledges the impact it has without making it the "root cause."

That's absolutely a problem with answer choice (B), President. We don't know if it's the only cause based on the paragraph. Since we can't prove it true based on the stimulus, we eliminate it.

For main point questions, we are really tasked with two different things. First, the correct answer must pass the fact test. Can I prove this answer choice must be true based only on the stimulus above? Second, it must be the main point of the passage. So in addition to the Fact Test, we need to make sure it is not supporting any other part of the stimulus.

Great work!
