Hi muhammadtheahmed,

This is an EXCEPT question, where 4 answer choices Must Be True, and one answer choice is not necessarily true. That doesn't mean that it's a false answer choice, but it's something that we can't prove true. Our four incorrect answer choices are proven by the stimulus.

Answer choice (A): This must be true. A child is described in the stimulus who increases problematic behavior as a result of getting what they want after some problematic behavior.

Answer choice (B): This must be true. A child influences the parent's behavior by encouraging them to give in, and the parent encourages the child's problematic behavior by giving in to it.

Answer choice (C): This must be true. The parent does not want to increase the screaming, but they do so inadvertently when they give in to the bad behavior.

Answer choice (D): This is the correct answer choice. We don't know if the child can influence the parent in ways contrary to the CHILD'S desires. The only example we have in the stimulus is the parent giving in to the child's behavior. Therefore, since we don't have enough information to show this has to be true, it is our correct answer choice.

Answer choice (E): This answer choice must be true. The child can get what they want by screaming, which the parent does not want them to do.

Hope that helps!
