Hello,

I have a question about either/or and its implications on rule making in logic games. On the LSAT, either/or can mean one of the two, possibly both. Therefore, could the following rule: If the recipe includes either A or B, then it also includes C
be diagrammed as A or B or AB together  C?
With the contrapositive neg C  neg A and neg B and neg AB together?

Hi Thomas,

Yes, that is correct. That rule essentially means "any of A or B  C" so the contrapositive is "not C  none of A or B."

As long as you can capture that idea--and you have--then you understand the meaning and are good to go.

Thanks!
