Could you please explain why E is incorrect? Thank you.

In paragraph 3, the author states that "all individuals have duties not to harm others" and "individuals still have duties to refrain from those actions that constitute crimes in the majority of legal systems" even if they do not obey the law. I made a connection between these two sentences and chose E.

Hey Zoe Zoe,

The first paragraph discusses commonly held beliefs about the law. In particular, lines (9) and (10) give support for answer choice (A). The 3rd paragraph is discussing what philosophical anarchists believe regarding the law - this is a different viewpoint.

Be sure to keep track of competing viewpoints throughout a passage - here we are comparing what most people believe (first viewpoint) and what philosophical anarchism says (second viewpoint).

Hope that helps!
