Good afternoon Power score,

I'm having a really hard time understand why B is the correct answer. I think B is possible because you can have G(W) in the in the the 3rd spot. Which leaves L (Z) & F(Y). I honestly thought all of the answer choices were possible, and just guessed on A.

Hey Aladeen,

If you have X in the 4th spot, then you know X and H must be paired together, because of the rule which says H must be last. If H is last and paired with X, then H cannot be paired with Y.

Rule number 3 says "H is assigned Y if F is not assigned W". In order to avoid breaking this rule, we must make sure F is with W. We can't have F and W in the third spot, because G has to always immediately follow F, and then there is no room for G. See below.
