I have two arguments against "A", the first more serious

A agrees with the passage. The passage states "The bones had NEARLY the same body temperature in their limbs" Answer choice A writes that the core body temperature of warm-blooded animals is slightly higher, so these bones found very well may be from a warm-blooded animal, it does not weaken

Also what you said, we don't know anything about "large warm-blooded", these bones may be smaller animals, and answer choice A would not weaken either.

Are either of these the correct way to knowck out A? had a tougher time with this answer choice

Those are two very good reasons for eliminating that answer, sammydz! Great work!

To clarify B is correct because it attacks the evidence's reliability/credibility directly? Chose D at first but realized we aren't comparing size at all so it seems essentially irrelevant.

Hi lsatep2024!

Yes, your reasoning makes sense. The stimulus makes a conclusion about the body temperature of dinosaurs using a particular methodology, namely, measuring the proportion of two oxygen isotopes in bones. Answer choice (B) doesn't challenge that methodology itself but rather challenges its usefulness and reliability in measuring body temperature based on fossilized remains.
