The conclusion says that 'many' people are wiling to pay a high price for added convenienceof microwave popcorn. Answer choice (A) could be true and that would not weaken this conclusion - just because most (more than 50% of purchasers) buy conventional popcorn doesn't mean that many still do not buy the microwave version. If 51% buy conventional and 49% buy microwave, for example, it's still perfectly fine to say many people buy microwave popcorn for convenience, so we have not weakened that argument at all.
