Would really appreciate an explanation on how B is wrong. It says in the last paragraph that "The biota are not only a part of a countries heritage, but a source of immense untapped material wealth...". How does this not support answer choice B? Thanks.

Hi RottenPJ!

The language you cite to does initially make (B) seem like an attractive answer choice. However, the second part of the sentence is potentially more problematic--it's not clear, for instance, that being "part of a country's heritage" counts as "cultural wealth." In addition, it's not clear that that counts as being an "untapped" source of cultural wealth. Ultimately, we're not really given precise definitions of material and cultural wealth in the passage.
