So the conditionals I use are different from the ones in powerscore...
E.G.:

for pg. 136:
I put: single-->(crossed out) engulf, and then engulf-->(crossed out) single. It led me to the right conclusion here, but do I need to reframe how I approach conditionals?

Hi CChen,

In that one, the conditional relationship in the final sentence is that if the nucleomorph were not the remains of an engulfed nucleus (E), then one would expect only a single version of this gene (Single).

This statement would be diagrammed as follows: E  Single

The contrapositive would be as follows: Single  E

Please let me know whether this is clear, and if you have additional questions--thanks!
