Hi jona,
Even with your proposed change, I still wouldn't consider Answer A as good as Answer E.
We know that the Kuna who live on the mainland (unlike those who live on the islands) typically do not drink several cups of cocoa a day, but we have no idea why. Perhaps it is due to a lack of availability, but not necessarily. Another possibility is that it is available, but just more expensive. Yet another possibility is that it is available, but just not a culturally accepted practice on the mainland like it is on the islands. Perhaps the Kuna on the mainland prefer coffee instead? There could be many explanations, which makes your modified answer not very well supported.
Answer E, on the other hand, does have some support based on the facts in the stimulus. Since the one difference in behavior that is given between the two groups may account for the difference in high blood pressure, this has some support. Of course, there may be other differences between the two groups that we do not know about (such as other differences in diet or exercise), so Answer E is definitely not a Must Be True answer, only a Most Strongly Supported.
