Complete Question Explanation
(The complete setup for this game can be found here: lsat/viewtopic.php?t=14119)

The correct answer choice is (E)

If L is not serviced on Saturday, then Template #2 is in effect. In that template, S is serviced on Friday, and thus answer choice (E) cannot be true and is therefore correct.

Hi Brittney,

Since it says "each of the following could be true EXCEPT," the correct answer we're looking for CANNOT be true. If L can't go on Saturday, then P has to, because H can't be on Saturday (from rule 1) and V, L, R, and S all have to have something come before them (from rules 2 and 4). If P is on Saturday, S is on Friday, because from rule 3 we know either V or S has to be right next to P, and it can't be V since R and H need to come after V. Therefore we KNOW the answer is E, since S has to be on Saturday and therefore cannot be on Wednesday.
