I graduated from college in 1999 so most of my accomplishments have been in the work field. Do I still put information about my college years (organizations, extra curricular activities)??

Thanks,

Anahi

Hi Anahi,

Thanks for your question!

Since you're several years out of college, I would focus on your work and post-college accomplishments in your resume. If you have a super impressive college accomplishment that you think law schools will find relevant (fellowship, award, student body president, etc.) then you could add it as a line in your education section. But schools will be more concerned with what you've been up to lately and I would save room to go into detail about your more recent endeavors. Those post-college experiences you've had will help set you apart from those who are applying straight out of undergrad!

Best,
Kelsey
