Would you mind explaining the difference in Answer C and E. I struggled with answers C and E as both answers appear to be saying the same thing. What makes answer E correct and C incorrect?

Hi Smile,

C is saying that EVERYONE except for people interested in improving their intellects is interested in making money in the business world; this isn't addressed by the question one way or the other. E is saying that interest in improving your intellect is incompatible with being concerned with making money in the business world. This fills the gap we see in the argument, since it explains why companies don't want to hire people with doctorates in the liberal arts - because they can't be concerned with making money in the business world, since that would be incompatible with interest in improving their intellects.

Hope that helps!
