Hi, I recently took an online course (PrincetonReview) preparing for the LSAT (3 months) and I wasn't quite happy with where I was scoring, because I knew I could do much better (I am roughly making a 155 right now). So, I decided to purchase the LSAT Bibles from Powerscore and also the workbooks. I am preparing for the June 2014 test, and I decided to take my time through each chapter of the books and soak in all of the information, and currently I am about half way through each of the 3 bibles. My question is, for studying/practicing purposes, should I be taking a practice test every once in a while? Like one every week or two, even though I am not done with the bibles? If it were my first time encountering the LSAT, this question and answer might be a little different. But I am familiar with all the material, and I just want to make sure I am maximizing the way I study and prepare. Thank you in advance!

Thanks for the question, Mit!

Given the materials you already have, I recommend the three-month study plan Dave put together a few months ago. This is a fantastic way to maximize your efficiency and make certain that you're taking in all of the information in the proper order. Dave includes not only how to progress through the chapters, but also when to take practice tests.

To help you make the most of your practice tests, also check out Jon's blog post about the right way to take a practice test.

Best of luck!
